Dopo aver esaminato con cura la Bestina e le sue canalizzazioni scavate a est sotto l’abitato, il recente ritrovamento di documenti relativi ad attività locali di lavorazione dei tessuti (follatura) nella zona della Porticciola, hanno creato l’occasione per un’indagine sull’esistenza di acqua a sud-ovest del Centro Storico e sul suo utilizzo.
