Around the church of San Giovanni in Corsano Monteroni d'Arbia
The walk is divided into two rings that are joined at the Pieve di Corsano, place of departure and arrival times for both. While the first path, one that leads to Corsano is very easy, the second leading to Sant'Ansano is haunted by the bitter morphology of the territory. From the church, a splendid example of Romanesque religious architecture, after the tree-lined path that leads to the farm Corsano, you gain from the settlement of Ville mighty tower restored. From here you climb to the castle of Grotti and its superb scenery. After passing the castle, turn the left lane the way that touched the Villa del Colle, returned to Pieve di Corsano. From here you can start the second path: through a private road until you reach the tower Sant'Ansano, spectacular architectural disaster that looms from a wooded hill. Then on to get a view of the house of Saint Lucia, which is located on the left a path that leads to Usannella, sixteenth-century rural building of great historical and architectural. Back in Saint Lucia, we reach the road that connects the villas and Radi, almost at Casa al Bosco. Turning left, we go back to church, meeting house on the path of Monterosi Ville di Corsano, Parish of St. John.
