STRUCTURE DESCRIPTION
The farmhouse is situated in the heart of Crete Senesi. Hospitality in apartments and rooms. Services: swimming pool , wide garden, parking area, animal hospitality, walks through the farm and fishing. Tasting and direct selling of products. Products: Pienza’s pecorino cheese ( from the milk which is directly produced and transformed in the farm), oil, vegetables and fruit. In the tranquillity of the Crete Senesi, close to the Val d’ Orcia and the vineyards of Montalcino, you can find “ Vergelle”, an ancient and very small village, situated on the hills of San Giovanni d’ Asso. In this unique peacefulness, dipped into an old-fashioned postcard- landscape, the farm “ Vergelle” gives hospitality to its guests in pretty and comfortable apartments, carefully furnished in a perfect typically Tuscan country-style. “Vergelle” is the ideal place for those who want to escape from the stress of every-day life, for diving into a world which somewhere else doesn’t exist for some time , among splendid hills, touched by fairy-tale panoramas. The guests are warmly followed by the owners’ family which is always pleased to let you visit the artisan-cheese factory of the farm, where they produce the excellent pecorino cheese of Crete Senesi that you can taste and buy. The guests can also spend unforgettable relaxing moments, enjoying the swimming pool which is at their’ s disposal, from which you can enjoy a unique panorama over the surrounding hills. The central position as regard as Crete Senesi and the Val d’ Orcia, makes “Vergelle” one of the most suitable resorts for those who want to visit the near villages of Montalcino, Pienza, Bagno Vignoni, Montepulciano...Then, few metres from the main structure, it has been created a small restaurant/bar where the guests can have their breakfast and taste the typical dishes of the Tuscan cooking.
