Path traced by works of Sodom territoralmente distributed in the south of Siena. The starting point should not miss the Abbey of Monte Oliveto Maggiore. In fact, in that magical place for many aspects, there is a large fresco cycle of frescoes depicting the history of St. Benedict in the small museum and a self-portrait of the Artist. The next visit is the Basilica of St. Agatha in Asciano, where the artist has created some frescoes. Those that have come down to us are: a medallion with "The deposisione of Christ" and a huge fresco depicting "Madonna and Child Enthroned with the Archangels." From here, along the route of the Old Lauretana you reach the historic center of Sinalunga where, in the Collegiate Church of San Martino, is an artist grandeaffresco depicting "Madonna and Child Enthroned with Saints." Immediately after Sinalunga, along the route of the old road Cassia in a small village in the '500 completely rebuilt the chapel of San Michele there and, within which are preserved some frescos by Sodoma. The path continues towards Montepulciano where, in the local museum is a painting of the Madonna and Child. The last leg of the journey is the former monastery of Sant'Anna in Olivetano Camprena, located between Pienza and Castelmuzio, where are located numerous frescoes in the church and the refectory. From here you can quickly return to Monte Oliveto through a fascinating journey in Crete between San Giovanni d'Asso and Asciano.
