The chapel of the Square is a sacred building situated in Serre di Rapolano (Rapolano Terme). The chapel is a small structure with a rectangular plant opened on three sides through wide arches. This was the seat of the Saint Elizabeth’s company than joined to that of Saint “Caterina della Misericordia” in the first years of the XVII century. In 1922 the restoration works were made and in that occasion re-emerged the fragmentary fifteenth-century-fresco, restored again in the 80’s of the XX century and the big central lunette with the Madonna with Christ Child and the Saints Fabiano and Sebastiano, Bernardino and Macario, protectors of Serre. On the right, it is possible to see another fresco representing the Madonna with Christ Child, attributable to Andrea di Nicolò; on the central starry vault there is the image of the blessing God the Father.
